The VS4-10 Phoenix RTR is a throwback-inspired truck with the modern rugged durability that Vanquish Products is known for. Features the VFD Spec transmission, F10 Portal Axles, with knuckle weights and a bold new livery with painted bedsides. Included is a full function digital 4 Channel VT-1 Transmitter with multiple model memory and end point adjustment, making the VS4-10 Phoenix RTR ready to be equipped with optional radio controlled accessories such as a winch, light controller or dig. Out of the box the VFD Spec Transmission comes with 6.5% OD powered by a 35T VM-1 Motor and VE-1 3S capable ESC. High quality stainless steel links are used throughout the Phoenix's suspension, including larger diameter lower links for extra mass down low and a high clearance front tie rod that removes the bends from the link. The F10 portal axles are equipped with knuckle weights and machined ring and pinion gears. The chromoly universal axle shafts allow for 49 degrees of steering. Full ball bearings, metal transmission gears and 32P spur / pinion provide smooth and reliable performance when tackling the toughest terrain. 

The VS4-10 Phoenix RTR is equipped with the VFD Spec transmission, a proven transmission with outstanding durability and optimized design. The molded F10 portal axles utilize a high clearance design which minimizes the size of the pumpkin and provides the look of full scale axles you would see in the real world. Connecting the VFD Spec to the F10 portal axles are the ISD10 driveshafts. The ISD10 Driveshafts have machined CV style joints at each end with molded splined shafts between them for smooth, quiet and efficient performance. The large 8mm bore S8E shocks include dual O-Ring cartridge and revised threaded caps with a sealed upper bleeder screw. S8E preload adjustment is a breeze with the threaded shock bodies and collars.

VS4-10 CHASSIS DETAILS

The VS4-10 chassis is made to provide you with a balance of scale looks and unhindered performance. The steel C-channel design provides scale detail, molded front and rear cross members fill the chassis rails in the highest stress locations for ultimate strength and provide features like dual servo mounts, winch line routing, and a fuel cell. The molded rock sliders come with a replaceable tapered outer portion that perfectly fits the Phoenix body. The panhard mount on the chassis is made from metal to withstand the impacts of severe trail conditions.

The VFD is designed for optimal performance, scale appearance, strength, and versatile accessories. It positions the motor forward and low for ideal weight distribution. The VFD transmission offers a 6.5% overdrive for improved turning and climbing without stressing electronics. The T-case features replaceable bearing plates for adjustable positioning and optional gear ratios. Compatible with 540 brushed and brushless motors*. The VFD transmission has wide metal gears inside for strength in the areas that count. The option to build the VFD transmission with a variety of option parts allows you to tune the performance to your needs.

Performance Focused - Suspension

Portal clearance, low center of gravity. The Phoenix portal RTR was designed to deliver the ultimate out of the box RTR trail driving experience. The Phoenix utilizes Incision 80mm S8E shocks with 8mm bore aluminum threaded bodies, dual O-ring seals, locking preload collars, keyed spring cups, and polished steel shock shafts. The front 3-link with panhard prioritizes scale looks while keeping steering effectiveness. Stainless steel links ensure low weight and durability.

VT-1 Digital 4 Channel Transmitter provides industry leading features and tuning capabilities in an RTR. 15 model memory, multi-channel end point and rate adjustment, digital screen and multi-position switches for the 3rd and 4th channel. Your VS4-10 Phoenix Portal RTR is ready for your additional servos or accessories to fully utilize the VT-1 Transmitter.

VE-1 ESC is 3S LiPo capable and includes a strong BEC to power servo functions. The built-in jumpers can be moved to adjust LiPo cut-off and drag brake strength. Factory tuned for your VS4-10 Phoenix RTR. The VE-1 ESC is our version of the Hobbywing 1060, one of the most trusted RTR ESC’s on the market.

VM-1 35T Brushed motor is a closed endbell design tuned for the VS4-10 Phoenix RTR to provide trail torque with plenty of speed to conquer the roughest terrain with confidence.

VS-1 Metal Gear Servo tackles the steering duty on the VS4-10 Phoenix with 200oz-in of torque. Ready for all elements the VS-1 Servo is water resistant and durable with its metal gears and 25T output spline for industry standard servo horns. ­
